Some problems are too important to leave unsolved.
Almost two-thirds of Europeans delay seeking care for sensitive health conditions. Not because treatment doesn’t exist—but because the barriers do. Stigma. Waiting rooms. Awkward encounters and uncomfortable conversations. We built ahtida to reduce those barriers.
I’m Michalis. I’ve been coding since age 10, when I created thriving communities on Minecraft. That same instinct—to build systems where people feel supported—drives me today. As a machine learning engineer studying electrical and computer engineering, I built ahtida Health’s entire platform from scratch. Not because it was easy, but because solving hard problems is what I live for.
I’m Eva. I left Athens years ago with the belief that there is more to life. I lived and worked in Nicosia, Milano, then made Zurich my home 13 years ago. Four countries, countless lessons, one constant: the drive to create and make an impact. To embirically prove that all is feasible.
My journey started while I was still a student, working as an assistant to pay my way through university. From there, I worked in nearly every department —administration, finance, marketing, business development—learning how companies really function from the inside out. I built three pharmaceutical companies from the ground up, led startups, navigated the complexities of large corporations, and worked with every stakeholder in the healthcare industry—from physicians and pharmacists to insurers and regulators. By the time I became CEO, I had earned every lesson the hard way. When I launched a similar business model here in Switzerland, I knew the playbook inside out.
Michalis and I always believed that if you make one person smile, you’ve made the whole world smile. At ahtida, we measure success one patient at a time. One life made a little easier. One person who finally got the care they deserved.
Healthcare should work for everyone. That’s why we built ahtida Health.
