Michalis Lappas

Michalis is a Machine Learning and Full Stack Engineer who specializes in developing intelligent solutions that drive significant operational improvements in the tech and digitization sectors. He started coding at the age of 10 and today is technically equipped to build with his team ahtida’s platform for both peak efficiency and intuitive design.

Michalis’ expertise lies in applying analytical thinking to solve complex problems, acting as a versatile “Swiss army knife” for technical challenges. He applies his skills to complex data environments, with a focus on challenges within the pharmaceutical sector. This includes designing frameworks for extracting key information from laboratory documents and structuring it in advanced systems like vector databases. Such expertise is essential for developing next-generation AI tools, including RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) chatbots for enterprise knowledge management. This forward-looking work is built on a proven track record of execution; previously, he designed and implemented an entire machine learning-driven system that increased a large team’s efficiency by 4-5 times, directly boosting profit margins.

Currently also pursuing a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA)
